America250 Art Depicting Cedar City Contest

The Cedar City   Arts   Council (CCAC) invites local   artists   to create a poster for the   America  250 City  Art  Poster Project.   This project is to show the breadth of American cities and selected  posters will be displayed at the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington, D.C. in January. As the Local  Arts  Agency, the CCAC is coordinating the Cedar City effort with cash prizes for three of the Cedar City entries. The top entrant will receive $500 with two runner up awards of $100 each. Deadline for submissions to CCAC is Oct. 15. Incorporate Cedar City and America250 into the design. 2026 Entry Forms for the Art and Photo Contests, Cedar Livestock and Heritage Festival

Updated entry forms for 2026 for the Art and Photo Contests in conjunction with the Cedar Livestock and Heritage Festival. For fillable form or for questions contact cedarcityartscouncil@gmail.com These contests are for kindergarten through high school. The exhibit will be at the Diamond Z arena on October 23 and 24, 2026. Twelve pieces will be exhibited at the Cedar City Library. The Festival provides the prize money and the contests are coordinated by the Cedar City Arts Council. Thanks to everyone who makes this possible. Previous contests on this blog. The most recent is at  2025 Art and Photo Contest Exhibit Entries to the Southern Utah Museum of Art from Sept. 1 to 25 at 300 West Center.
