2023 Fall Social Honors Shauna Mendini and includes music and art presentations

We were pleased to present Shauna Mendini with the Arts Award for career in dance and 30 years of arts administration.

Dr. Keith Bradshaw presented a tribute to Shauna for her career in dance and arts administration.

Three mini-grant recipients presented their projects: 

Heldentenor, Steve Grabe & pianist, Tracey Bradshaw performing a selection from the thrilling act 1 finale of Wagner’s “Die Walküre” to be featured in their post-Valentine’s day concert.  February 17, at SUU’s Thorley Recital Hall.

Mallory Sanders gave an introduction to custom printing processes and her current exhibit at Groovacious.

SUU Percussion Ensemble  performed as representatives of the Crossroads Music Festival.




CCAC Board Member Mary Anne Andersen directs the mini-grant program.

 Thanks to everyone submitting their artwork for the Art Festival. Entries now closed and the exhibit is up at the Diamond Z Arena for Oct. 23 and 24. We appreciated the hard work of the students and the many touching stories about their entries from family stories, portraits of grandparents as children, why a family chose the name Rose for a child, and memorable family experiences. We appreciate our wonderful art teachers who are giving the students new ways of seeing the world through art. We appreciate the parents who support their children's creations.
